Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a shallow bowl, dunk your sourdough in the mixture until it's well coated.
- Add the butter to a heavy bottomed pan over a medium-high heat before adding the sourdough in and cooking until browned on one side, for about 2 minutes.
- Before flipping, sprinkle two pinches of sugar on exposed side of bread.
- Flip and brown the other side, another 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining bread. Add additional butter to the pan as needed.
- Immediately serve warm French toast with sliced bananas, fresh blueberries, and maple syrup.
