SuperNutrio: A Game-Changer for Families with Fussy Eaters

As a Paediatric Dietitian and Feeding Therapist, I’m always looking for solutions that meet the nutritional needs of growing children—especially those who are fussy eaters.

SuperNutrio is naturally high in protein and calcium, delivering 17.5g of protein per 250ml serving—double that of standard cow’s milk. This makes it a great choice for children who struggle with a limited diet or specific health conditions.

Meeting the Needs of Families
For parents, especially those managing fussy eating, SuperNutrio is a convenient and stress-free way to boost protein and calcium intake without needing to add lots of other ingredients.

Versatile and Delicious
SuperNutrio’s creamy taste and versatility means it can easily be incorporated into everyday meals, whether in smoothies, cereals, soups, or even baking. This simplicity makes it an ideal option for busy families seeking practical and nutritious solutions.

Support Across Life Stages
From toddlers to teenagers, SuperNutrio supports children’s growth and development. For parents, knowing that this one product can contribute significantly to their child’s health—especially during phases of fussy eating—brings peace of mind.

Answering Parents Questions About SuperNutrio Milk

  1. Can SuperNutrio help with weight gain in children?

SuperNutrio contains 81 kcal per 100ml, compared to whole cow’s milk, which provides 66 kcal per 100ml. This higher caloric density makes it particularly beneficial for children who:

  • Are low in weight or have difficulties gaining weight.
  • Have higher energy needs due to medical conditions.

By offering more calories and protein per serving, SuperNutrio can help address nutritional gaps while supporting healthy weight gain.

  1. How does SuperNutrio compare to regular cow’s milk in terms of nutrition?

SuperNutrio offers 17.5g of protein per 250ml serving, significantly higher than most plant-based alternatives, such as soya drinks, which typically provide 6-8g of protein per 250ml, and cow’s milk, which provides around 8g per 250ml. It is also an excellent source of calcium, essential for bone health, making it a great option for families looking to support their nutrition.

  1. Is SuperNutrio suitable for children with allergies or intolerances?

SuperNutrio is free from artificial additives, but it is derived from milk proteins, so it is not suitable for children with cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA) or lactose intolerance.

  1. How can SuperNutrio be incorporated into a child’s diet?

SuperNutrio is versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. It’s great in smoothies, overnight oats, porridge, soups, and even as a base for cooking dishes like creamy pasta sauces or baked goods. This makes it easy to increase protein and calcium intake in a child’s diet.

Dan Powell

As an athlete in a weight-related sport, it’s crucial that I get my macros right to keep me performing at the highest level. In my opinion, the most important macronutrient is protein. High-protein products like SuperNutrio high-protein milk are essential for my recovery and ensuring my body repairs and grows at a rate which supports my fitness and training goals.

As an elite-level athlete, what does training look like for you?

Typically, I train six days a week, but most days this includes a mixture of different sessions. Throughout the week, I tend to have five weight sessions at full capacity, a further three fitness sessions and then two or three sparring sessions on the mat.

Given the high training volume, it’s crucial to prioritise muscle recovery. This was especially important in the lead-up to the Games and during our training camps, where we trained daily. We also had to protect our bodies from excessive wear and tear and any injuries. The last thing anyone wants in a Games year is an injury!

Outside of my own personal training, I run about 3 or 4 different group fitness classes at the GNR8 Academy, so this means that I’m also working with others to make sure they’re getting the best possible training too.

How important is nutrition to your sport and your training?

Nutrition is incredibly important for all elite athletes. As a sport, judo is all about strength and endurance, and my nutrition is what allows me to train and compete at the level that I do.

Protein in particular is a main priority in my diet, as it is essential for muscle growth and recovery, providing the essential amino acids that build and repair muscles. As a more mature athlete, having competed on the world stage since 2010, this is something that I’ve become more aware of over the years, with me being more susceptible to injuries and soreness – judo can really take its toll on your body!

In the last three years, I’ve had to move up a weight category, meaning that I’ve had to put on quite a few kilograms. This can be a tricky thing to get right, ensuring that it’s done in a way that is healthy for your body and useful to your training. Yes, your fitness and training play a role in this, but I’ve mostly been reliant on my diet and putting the right foods in my body in order to both increase my weight, but also sustain it.

As a dad, how important is it for you to ensure that your son is also getting the best nutrition that he can?

As a parent, it can be really difficult to make sure that your children are eating the right things and putting what they need into their body. But as an athlete, I understand the importance of this more than most.

For me it’s about teaching Edward healthy habits, and the importance of certain foods in your diet so that when he grows up he can take this on himself. It’s also being aware of exactly what is in the foods that our children consume – so often what you can think to be a ‘healthy’ option for children, actually has hidden sweeteners or artificial flavours. SuperNutrio high-protein milk has been a great addition for him, just as much as me, as it allows him to get the all important calcium in his diet, and more protein, all just by making a simple swap!

I am delighted to be the resident nutritionist for SuperNutrio, a product that stands out for its all-natural composition with no added ingredients – a rarity in the current food landscape. SuperNutrio excels in providing essential nutrients, being naturally high in protein and calcium, which are vital for bone health and muscle function.

SuperNutrio provides 17.5g protein per 250ml serving; that is an extra 8.75g of protein compared to standard cow’s milk, and 15g more than a standard oat milk alternative!!

Protein and Naturalness

SuperNutrio’s milk protein is a complete source of essential amino acids (EAA), making it a superior protein option. This is particularly crucial for fitness enthusiasts and athletes who require high-quality protein to support muscle repair and growth. Unlike many protein supplements on the market, SuperNutrio offers an all-natural option, free from artificial additives, which aligns with the demand for clean, wholesome products.

Supporting Different Life Stages

Protein is crucial at every stage of life. During menopause, it’s essential for maintaining muscle mass, which can decline due to hormonal changes, affecting metabolic health and physical strength. SuperNutrio offers a convenient way to ensure adequate intake of protein and calcium, which is crucial for fetal development and maternal well-being. In children, protein and calcium provide essential nutrients necessary for growth and development. Protein and calcium support growth and hormonal changes in adolescence. Adults benefit from protein’s role in supporting active lifestyles and muscle maintenance. For seniors, protein intake helps prevent muscle loss associated with ageing. This makes SuperNutrio a valuable addition to the diet of every family member, regardless of age.

Weight Management and Satiety

Another significant benefit of SuperNutrio is its role in weight management. Protein is known for promoting satiety, helping to control appetite and reducing overall calorie intake. By incorporating SuperNutrio into their diet, individuals can achieve better control over their eating habits, which is a critical component of maintaining a healthy weight.

Versatility in Use

One of SuperNutrio’s standout features is its versatility and delicious creamy taste. It can be seamlessly incorporated into various recipes, making it an ideal addition to different types of diets. From smoothies and protein shakes to baked goods and overnight oat, SuperNutrio can enhance the nutritional profile of any beverage or meal.

This ease of adaptability ensures that individuals can enjoy its benefits without having to make significant changes to their eating habits.

Enhancing a Healthy Lifestyle

With its ease of use and creamy taste, SuperNutrio is a nutritious and simple swap that can enhance the diet of anyone seeking a healthier lifestyle. Whether you are an athlete looking for a natural protein source, an older adult aiming to maintain muscle mass, a busy parent seeking nutritious options for your family, or someone simply striving to improve your diet, SuperNutrio offers a natural, nutrient and protein-rich solution to meet your nutritional needs.”
